As w all know The  University Jammu & Kashmir founded in the year  1948 and this JK University divided into two full fledged Universities in year 1969. One named named as University Of Kashmir & the Second named university Of Jammu. The Kashmir University is located at Hazratbal Srinagar and the Jammu University located place  Baba Saheb Ambedkar Road Jammu tawi. The Kashmir University surrouned by famous Dal Lake on its eastern side  and Nigeen lake on its western side. The University of Kashmir  main campus spread over 247 acres of land and divided into 3 parts. 1. Hazrtabal Campus 2. Naseem Bagh Campus and 3. Mirza Bagh Campus. More land has been acquired for main campus at Zakura for expansion of the University. From last several years the University of Kashmir expanded and establish several installed satellites campuses at Anantnag_ South Campus , Baramulla_ North Campus and Kupwara_ Kupwara Campus in these Districts to give better education for remote areas. The University Of Kashmir constructed these campuses in beautiful places.
